It has been a good season so far for new and exciting miniatures flowering in our daffodil beds. One of the more interesting seedlings was a stunning 4W-P miniature. Unfortunately it is sterile as it is of jonquilla heritage.
We also flowered a small nice miniature split cup that is also a result of our breeding down program. It may be fertile.
One of the goals of most miniature breeders is to breed something like Tete-a-Tete and Jumblie. As you can see from the photos below we have obtained our goal with some very nice little flowers with multiple florets.
We also flowered a very nice 6W-P miniature that stays pink instead of fading to white or yellow.
We have also flowered some 7W-YYPs that are coloured alternatives to Tete-a-Tete.
Finally we have continued to flower micro minis in the field.
