The culprit sat at the top of the bush , singing [ beautifully ] and laughing at me.
The N Z tui is a native song-bird that is a nectar feeder , hencethey like the waratahs and most other members of the Protea family.
They are around all daff season , usually on Banksia Intergrifolia , another nectar producer.
They truly make a beautiful chorus.
