The Carey E. Quinn medal (or ribbon) is awarded to the best collection of 24 stems of daffodils from at least 5 RHS divisions. The exhibitor was Mary Lou Gripshover. I must apologize here as it seems that I cut off the far left column of flowers. I don’t have the list of flower names here, but maybe Mary Lou can post those. There were 3 entries in this class.

The flowers in the Quinn, near as I can figure out, though the show report will have them, are: Top row, left to right: Lackawanna (I think), French Robin, Rameses, Bender 90/236 1 W-Y, Young Blood, ??, probably Homestead, Lakeland Fair Second row: Artful, Banker,Temple Bell, Savoir Faire, Fortescue, Sementha, Dingus Day, Censor Front row: Beryl, TN 39-? (Avenger x jonquilla), Sargeant’s Caye, 98-12 2W-WWP (Fine Romance x mlg pink seedling), Vineland, TN-? (Avenger x jonquilla), Towson’s Blush, Dinty Miss.
I think that Temple Bell and Sementha were reversed when the collection was judged. They were both pulled out for consideration for the best New Zealand award. Mary Lou
