Isn’t it a terrible shame that the incredible stem has to be trimmed off for exhibiting?

  2. I am also getting ready, but now that I  have seen that stem, I’m, wondering how my short stems will do, remember I live on teh “sunny” side of the cascades, you know the rain show desert, where it shoned all day Friday, and it has been below freezing every night for the past week as Ed and I sleep to the wind machines trying to save the fruit crops,  they sound like a fleet of heliocopters and I have the urge to listen to Wagner and in the stars I see Broomhilda ride her horse across the sky and in the distance I think I can see the other Valkyries followed closely by George c. Scott.  Any way, I am looking forward to the shoe in Seattle and hope to see a lot of other folks there as well.
