These are planted in sandy loam type soil on a slope. It is really too shady in this location and we are cutting down and chipping up smaller trees to thin them and get more sun in this area. Trevithian is also growing in this area. Notice there are large numbers of secondary bloom stalks still in tight bud while much of the drift was in full bloom. Keith Kridler Mt. Pleasant, Texas
