Another very early tazetta from Wilf .
Either a first year or possibly second flower — this time a Grand Monarch sdlg .
An impressive , thick , heavy stem,about 15 inches tall .
10 flowers on the head — each a good 35 — 40 mm size — .
Clean colours — despite the mud splattered on the flowers after a good thunder storm last night ..
Also ,well held on a neat head , not long and loose as a few sister sdlgs were ..
Again , — well worth pegging .
