Hi Daffnetters, We had our last local show of the season yesterday — Saturday 2 October. That is getting late for a North Island show — they have probably another fortnight down South.
For the previous few weeks, we have had extremely strong , gale force winds over much of the country and unfortunately severe snowstorms in the deep South.
As well as considerably damage to the daffs that were in the open paddocks, a beautiful early Christmas plum tree was victim to the storm.
But we were lucky — it came down over the long-drop toilet that is in the garden block .
Right over the outhouse but no damage done! ! !
Pleased to report that we can still take relief when required — OH THE RELIEF — Show results to follow ..
