Not  many  trumpets  left  at  the  end  of  the  season  ..
A  small  orange  trumpet  (  measured  easily  )  caught  the  eye  of  quite  a  few  .

The  hall  had  row  of  small  ceiling  spotlights  in  a  beam  over  one  stand  .
A  strategicly  place flower  looked great  with the  spot  right  on  the  bloom  .
It  really  showed  the colour  ,  but  the  vase  was  moved  a few  inches just  before
judging  —  it  was an  obvious  advantage  .

A  flower  I  really  rate  .

  1. John, thank you and all the others who have been posting the gorgeous flowers from your shows and your gardens! I have been so impressed with the quality of blooms and look even more forward to the World Convention in 2012!
I am working on a presentation on doubles for our upcoming fall meeting of the Middle Tennessee Daffodil Society on Nov. 7. May I have permission to use some of your photos?
Thanks so much and congratulations on such gorgeous flowers! Becky that daffy girl near Nashville
