Also blooming was Sternbergia, again from bulbs distributed many years ago at a fall board meeting.  And you thought all we did at board meetings was talk business and consume staging liquid.  :-)  There are also nice little bonuses from time to time.

  1. My sternbergia are blooming now too, Mary Lou. These are also the ones that were distributed at a board meeting. Who gave us those? I thik it was someone promoting their sponsorship of the next national show and meeting. I want to say they came from the Washington, DC or Virginia area? Who remembers? These have bloomed faithfully for me every year since that meeting.
