1. Jane.. The word is out about the Harry Potter series of daffodils and we are working on getting these photos now. When we find this one, we will get a good photo of it.

2. Hello Jane,
Many of Janis Ruksans’ daffodils were given to DaffSeek with Latvian names. Later, the English translations were provided and added to DaffSeek as a synonym for the Latvian names. When you find a detail record stating it is a synonym and see a link, click on that link to view the primary record which contains all the data and photos. As an example, look at the last line on the detail page for ‘Harry Potter’ http://daffseek.org/query/query-detail.php?value1=Harry%20Potter&lastpage=1&
All the photos and details are in DaffSeek under ‘Harijs Poters’ (this link) http://daffseek.org/query/query-detail.php?value1=Harijs%20Poters&lastpage=1&
A special note to Tom and all of our Daffnet & DaffSeek photographers, there are two hybridizers who have named daffodils in a “Harry Potter Series”, namely Janis and also Australian’s Hancock & Co. The Ashburner family also named a collection of daffodils after this notable wizard. We need photos for ALL of these in DaffSeek.
Many thanks to you all for contributing your beautiful photos for all our enjoyment!

‘Harry Potter’ is just about ready to bloom and I will bug Tom Stettner to come over and photograph it.

5. Anyone who is coming to the SWODS show next weekend and have any cultivars that need a photo, please bring it with you and be sure to remind me to get a photo.

Linda, if you can bring this one, I would greatly appreciated it!

Thanks
