Helen Trueblood is turning 93 soon!

Many members of the ADS know Helen Trueblood from conventions.
She is not on DaffNet so she will not see this message.
 
In case you have not heard yet, Helen  turns 93 on April 25th, the day after Easter. 
At the recent IDS Show, we celebrated the event with a special cake, Tom Stettner posted photos of it here.
She bragged about reaching this point so she won’t be distressed that everyone now knows her age!
 
Please join  in wishing Helen a very happy birthday by  sending her a birthday card. 
It should be fun for her to receive lots and lots of cards from her many gardening friends.

  1. I had the pleasure of a phone conversation with Helen last week.  She sounded more like 39 than 93 on the phone.  It is delightful to talk to a person of her “vast experience” who continues to maintain such a charming sense of humor.  She had me doubled over with laughter.

  2. Do I understand correctly that Helen has, within the last six months, had double knee replacements, and is moving just fine.
    She looked great in the pictures Tom posted.
    Daffodils keep us young, as well as protect us from tornados, as Colleen suggested yesterday.

  4. Yes, this is true.  Helen said she is doing just fine and isn’t “walking crooked anymore.”
