Lawrence,
Nice flowers. Is this cross pollen fertile?
Theo
Lawrence, Nice pictures of flowers in June as our foliage begins to die – it must mean that dafodils are in bloom, somewhere in the world , every month of the year. I’ve had flowers from Sept. until May . And I suppose N. poeticus is often in flower at the higher altitudes in Europe in June. Presumably you will have flowers from now until October? Brian
Thanks Brian. Daffodils start in March here with elegans and its hybrids and continue all the way through to spring. But the climate is not reliably kind to late flowers. The last couple of years have been good and my last selections have been made in October. Last year a very late poet (that I had not seen before) flowered at the end of October. So yes, there is always a daffodil in flower somewhere. Lawrence
