pink seedlings.

Hi Daffnetters, I,m always intrigued by the variation found in the results of one cross. I was checking a small line of pink seedlings, flowering over the last few weeks. The hoped for results were tall stemmed early pink cutflowers.. My requirements were strong, tall stems and buds openning with clearly pink colour when young, — not yellow pinks. As these would not be show form, high quality perianths were not a top priority. The parents were — Chorister x Graeme Phillips Rosewood sdlg. Chorister is one of mine — very early, good stem, pale colours. Rosewood is a Ken Heazlewood , Australia, Dear Me seedling..Good pink in G P sdlg. Quite a variation in the six siblings I bought home to photo… Cheers John.

  1. Looks like some of those have a fair amount of pink in the perianth? Harold
