Spicebush Swallowtail

OK, I guess you are tired of looking at butterflies, last one. This one also mimics the Pipevine Swallowtail. Almost as hard to get a good picture of as the Pipevine Swallowtail. Fast moving, active, butterfly.

  1. Not tired of the butterflies at all, they are beautiful and fascinating.  Would love to see more photos.

I’m not one bit tired of looking at those gorgeous butterfly photos!
The Pipevine Swallowtail is a real beauty.

If still alive, Peggy Macneale would be delighted that you’ve taken on the job of pushing Bottlebrush Buckeye. She frequently did.  And it is hardy as far north as Cincinnati, Ohio.

My only nature moment to add is in regards to Gooseneck Loosestrife.
The stuff is an aggressive nuisance but it’s a real pollinator attraction.
For a couple weeks now I’ve been seeing 5 or 6 different species of bees on it every day.
