Hi Folks,
The snow has stopped and we have had 24hours of heavy rain. Maybe we’ll have a daffodil season afterall.
This discussion on Roundup has got me thinking. I don’t use Roundup at $34 a litre when I can use glysophate at $7 a litre. It is basically the only chemical I use on this place and that only because I am lazy. As previously stated glysophate does not appear to have affected the daffodils. Robin Simmons warning about penetrants is significant here. My glysophate is not used with a penetrant.
But now I got to thinking. We have wonderful leaf vegetables and brassicas in the vege garden but I can’t grow root vegetables such as carrots and parsnips and corn. Maybe the residual glysophate is getting its revenge after all.

Dave,
Who cares about carrots and parsnips? :-) But the corn is another matter entirely. :-(

I seem to recall corn not being a root vegetable…
does roundup stop corns within the shoes?
