June Chappell, centre, member of the Canterbury Horticultural Society for over 60 years helps cut the cake at the Society’s 150th Jubilee dinner. There will not be too many Horticultural Societies older than this I guess. June was secretary of the local daffodil group for over 20 years and is still active in our Daffodil circle.
