Pollination of flowers/Ultra violet light seen by pollinators

I’d be interested in UV light as a plant health indicator if anyone comes across
more information on this. One of my fascinations from working at the science
center is light and color.

We helped design a very interesting multitouch exhibit that takes some everyday objects, along with celestial objects (like the sun, moon, galaxies) through different wavelengths of light including visible, UV, infrared, and x-ray (for the everyday objects). We were able to access the celestial images in even more wavelengths of light.

Despite my trying, we didn’t wind up with a daffodil image in the exhibit, but in research I had discovered that UV flower website as well as this one (link below) with flower x-rays. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing it. There are x-rays of a daffodil in Gallery 2, 3, and 5.  http://www.xray-art.com Here are two links to the multitouch exhibit in case anyone is interested in seeing it (or come visit Nashville to see it in person).

The company who designed and built it for us did all the terrestrial imaging; the celestial images came from various space agencies.
