This is a new mini opening today. Color here is a little more orange than in real life but I hope it will darken more over the next few days.
The breeding is from Stylish by N. lusitanicus. Needless to say I went out and remade the cross this morning :-)
Hi Ted:
Narcissus lusitanicus is the correct botanical name for the golden
yellow form of N. triandrus, It is sometimes named incorrectly N.
triandrus concolor or aurantiacus. That makes this flower a 5O-O; I
don’t believe there are many of those let alone minis. Lets hope this
one multiplies.
Your pollen will be on its way tomorrow after it has been briefly dried.
cheers
Harold

Harold,
Simply the finest Miniature split that I’ve seen! Nice in all its parts. Sensational.

What a sweetie that one is, Harold!
Love it!
Steve, I really like the look of that small poet, too! Like Harold, I hope you will reconsider not releasing something just because it’s close to a size limit.
