  1. What can you tell us, if anything, about the white multifloreted stem in the
    top row.

  2. Hi Chriss,

Nice “spot” Chriss! It is the nicest form of Narcissus panizzianus that I’ve ever seen. Sometimes called “Paperwhite minor”. I specifically asked about it as well. I had to apologize to Walter Blom for drooling so close to his flower! Walter Blom said it was a form sent him by John Blanchard. Collected in Greece by John’s father. It is close to the top of my “Devoutly to be Desired” list, and my “Covet Greatly” list. Yes, you have it diagnosed correctly, severe plant lust has set in here. It was smashing!

I felt it was one of several extraordinarily significant Miniatures at the Amity Daffodil Festival Show!

  3. Steve,
I think I’m getting in line right behind you after that glowing description. Tell me just how wonderful it smells. I’m intoxicated just thinking about it.

Thank you for the name. There are three lovely photos of it in daffseek on the ADS website.
The petals appear to have excellent form.

    Chriss
