This is a much liked, early, Miniature bicolor trumpet that has moved on to the Selection phase. V98-16-7 = (Arrival x Camborn) x (Arrival x Camborn). It is 38 mm in diameter (exactly 1 1/2″ in diameter). This has been exhibited in collections now for 6 years. One of the overall best, early bicolor Miniature seedlings I’ve flowered. Showing some of the freeze and thaw issues but still nice for this early.
Strong color contrast, good perianth whiteness, some overlap, fairly smooth, and the refined trumpet from the ‘Camborn’ grandparents are some of the notable attributes.
