Tornados

Hope all our friends around Cincinnati and KY and TN are OK and didn’t have damage from the tornadoes and high winds.

  1. Watching this on tv. How close were the storms to Helen Trueblood? Does anyone know if she is ok?

  2. Haven’t heard of any damage to our daffodil friends here in the Cincinnati area. I’m fine here in Milford; don’t know how Bill Lee fared in nearby Batavia.

  3. Like others I tried calling Helen and the phone just rang and rang.
So then I called Sue Bartles and she said that she’s certain that all the power is out in that area
BUT, more importantly, she thinks Helen may be out of town.

Sue is going to try and reach a sheriff friend of Helen’s and will let us know by e-mail if there’s any news.

  4. Chriss –

The nearest tornado to Helen’s (that I know of) was due south of her about 7-8 miles at Henryville.
Marysville is about 11-12 miles southeast from her and the entire village was flattened.

  5. Oh, my! We had heavy hailstorms in
Nashville (I was at work), but only rain
at my house south of Nashville. I hope
    all our friends are OK.
