The Oregon Daffodil Society had the third and final show of the 2012 season this past weekend at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden here in Portland.
The White Ribbon for the Best in Show went to Dick and Elise Havens for a flawless, truly superior flower of ‘American Classic’. The general public made many positive comments on this sensational flower. Aptly named and most deserving of the highest award, this flower was added to the top of just about every enthusiasts must have list.
Dick Havens showed up Friday night to ably assist Elise in staging their wonderful flowers. Dick looks GREAT and is well on the mend!
