Hi Daffnetters, Spring is moving steadily in N Z, as we prepare for the shows , and enjoy a little of the Olympics from London.
An early seedling double, quite reasonable form and unusual colouring in the petaloids. They are almost always with yellow base tones, deepening as they move out to the edges. This is the opposite; orange at the base with a yellow edge. Wilfred Hall and Robin Hill were around for a visit; both agreed it was both different and attractive.
