photos in the body of email

Hi everyone!

I’m just wondering if anyone else is having issues seeing Steve Viniskys posts with photos in the body of the email.

It seems that they are not showing up in my web browser on the new Daffnet, but when I use my home email of Thunderbird, they display just fine.

I looked back through some of the other photos that seem to be sent as attachments in messages and they all come through okay and can be clicked on, which enlarges the photo.

In Steves photos, looking at the email before clicking on it, it seems that the photo is only represented as an empty ‘very’ small box in the page. When I bring up the email it doesn’t show the photo represented at all.

Anyone else seeing this?

Tom

  1. I have occasionally had problems seeing embedded images even using Thunderbird.  The photos that Steve sends to the mailing-list are usually a special Mac embedded image format.

The old daffnet mailing-list had a severe 250K limit on photo sizes.  This new forum’s 8M limit will help many of us contribute larger photos which will be in a format that everyone can see. :)
