Autumn tazetta

Here is an unusual division 8 flower bred from Gloriosus by N. elegans. I now have enough stock to register but am not sure how to describe the corona. The corona is very thick and crumpelled with a paler line or fleck (?) on it. When one color codes how does one account for the corona color? There are two stems here each with about 12 florets. My guess is that it will be fertile as all the other siblings appear to be fertile. Flowers open reddish brown coronas that then developed a strong mid-orange color.

  1. Harold, is that doubling in the cup, or two layers?  Or my imagination?

  2. At first glance it appears to be a doubled corona but actually it is single but very thick and crumpled in around the rim. Most unusual :-)
