In Bloom Today – 6 Photos

This is a group of 6 seedling photos from today. Five Standards and one Miniature. The Miniature was raised by Sid DuBose.

First is a 4W-P. V93-137-6 is from Gresham x Night Music. Most always has a stigma and gives seed.

Below is a flower raised by the late Sid DuBose. It is a cross of Sid’s seedling that is the pink parent of his ‘Work of Art’.  C27-20 x N. scaberulus is the parentage of Z11-16. The right flower measures 48mm so it just measures Miniature.

Next is V92-72-30 which is a sibling to my ‘Chapel Bells’ and ‘Chapel Chimes’. A cross of ‘Hillstar’ x N. triandrus subsp. triandrus var. loiseleurii formerly N. t. ‘capax’. It is fragrant and a 5Y-Y.

Below is ‘Heart Fire’ which is now open. It is a 2W-P from ‘Cape Point’ x ‘Fine Romance’.

V93-137-6 is a 4Y-O from ‘Clouded Yellow’ x ‘Orange Marmalade’. I made a lot of double crosses using ‘Clouded Yellow’ as I like the petal width, neck, and strong stem.

Last is V03-67-21 from ‘Salmon Circle’ x ‘Colin’s Joy’. It is a 2W-WWP showing the smoothness and round form of ‘Salmon Circle’ with the color intensity of the much liked ‘Colin’s Joy’
