The Daffodil Barn

I’m a happy daff grower!  Not just because the daffodils are flowering in South Otago, New Zealand but because I have a achieved a long-held dream for our 150 year old barn!  Yes, I finally got it all cleaned out inside and displayed many of the photos I have taken of the daffodils I grow.  It’s now really enjoyable to work in with plenty of room for me and for visitors wanting to view the daffodils.

That’s one thing ticked of my bucket list of daffodil growing and sharing with the other daff lovers (or soon to be converted!!)

  1. Lovely, Sheltered, good light & warmish. What more can any one wish for during the flowering season Noeline. Thanks for sharing your dream.

  2. Fantastic; is it large enough to have a show; looks like it would be the perfect place; lucky you!!

  3. How lovely, Noeline!  Your barn was quite special prior to this uplift, but now it’s extraordinary.  I love the pictures—what an inspiration!

Hopefully all is well–regards to Donald!

  4. Hi Jason. We are both well thanks – having a rest day except for lambing ha ha! ‘George Broughton’ is flowering again this year – wish I could pin down it’s true identity. You may be interested to know that I’ve been following your example last year regarding div 11 over rimmed large cup. Just for fun and just for you!
