To whom it may concern:

This is to notify you that Louise Dunn passed after a brief illness.

She was 98 Louise was living in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1996.

She moved there to live with daughter after her husband, Tommy, passed away in February 1995. The Dunn’s were active in the daffodil society in Ohio and Arkansas. on their river lots in Heber Springs, Arkansas they had over 550 varieties. Louise continued her love of daffodil in Albuquerque and at one time there were over 200 varieties. Her gardening continued until 2007 when she broke her hip. She was still able to direct her children Jean and Tom, Jr. on digging, separating and replanting of the bulbs. Her son has daffodils in Worthington OH and several friends are enjoying her daffodils in Albuquerque.

  1. Louise and Tommy were such a great part of Southern Region daffodils when I first began going to shows, Louise had such  beautiful flowers and personified helpfulness toward newcomers. Tommy was one of the early show photographers. We were privileged to know them.
