I chanced upon this tazetta in a neighbour’s garden. Judging by the clump size it must have been there for some years.
There are twelve flowers on this particular stem, not particularly fragrant. The flowers are about 30mm in diameter. Am so glad spring would bring more daffodils in bloom !

Possibly Grand Primo Citroniere which always flowers early here.

I grew up in Queenstown, South Africa. And remember similar tazettas. Also in one of my friends gardens there were clumps of tazettas that started blooming in the autumn.
