We’ve added five videos from the ADS 2021 Fall Forum to DaffTube. Two were with the permission of the invited speakers, two are of us, and one is an interview conducted by us. The invited speaker talks are “The Wonder of Foliage Photography” by Mark Vollmer and “Get to the Root of the Problem through Soil Management: Soils, Soil Testing, Augmentation, and Nutrients” by Rick Clark. Our own Becky Fox Matthews spoke on “Gardening Techniques for Bulbs”. Harold Koopowitz and Bob Spotts presented “Breeding Green Daffodils and How to Judge Them”. This presentation was also a judges’ refresher, so it may be of continuing interest to judges, but merely viewing this video recording is not sufficient for earning refresher credit. The aforementioned presentations were given at the ADS fall board meeting in Reno in October 2021. The 2021 Fall Forum also included virtual presentations via Zoom before and after the Reno meeting, and the interview of Larry Ringland, head gardener at Ironstone Vineyards, was recorded by us in August and shown on November 13. Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, California was the site of the 2010 ADS National Convention and Daffodil Show. In general, recordings of all the Fall Forum presentations were available on line for a limited time and accessible only by (paid) Forum registrants; however, these copies in DaffTube will continue to be publicly available.
