I am so sad to hear this. I was just thinking about her yesterday. She was a treasure to know and such a wonderful daffodil devotee as well. Will miss her presence.
Naomi was one of the first people to welcome me and influence my desire for yellow fever….she was my first instructor when in ADS Judging school. Always enjoyed seeing her.
So sorry to hear this. She was an inspiration.
I’ve always had a special fondness for Naomi. What a consistent contributer to ADS and to daffodils!

Naomi and Jim were great friends to us. They hosted us when we visited. We enjoyed a particular interest in miniatures. I enjoyed golf with Jim in Strachan, Tasmania and at his exclusive home club in Columbus. Whilst in Christchurch Naomi and I had a great day travelling to Geraldine to visit Colin Crotty whilst Jim had a game with my friends at the Templeton Golf Club. Naomi certainly did her bit serving the ADs and the CODS.
Naomi’s online obituary gives very little information about her work with and for daffodils. If anyone can send more information about her service to the ADS, her local club, or daffodils/miniatures in general, it would be very helpful. If you can provide additional information or a good photo of her, please email it to me directly at or . Thank you
So sorry to hear about this. Very nice lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her. She will be missed. Fondly, Jack Hollister
