Spring is about a week early here as the first blooms open–a couple of mini seedlings. The first is a Helen Link 1 Y-Y seedling (I forgot the number), and the second is a seedling of mine, 73-11-16 (Wee Bee x Lilliput). We had freezing weather last night, and I haven’t been outside this morning to see how they fared.

Link seedling
HI Mary Lou,
I’m also early with lots coming out of the ground. However all I have in
blue is R.E.S. and one Julia Jane 10Y-Y.
Here is a picture of the RES.

It’s a good thing that the ADS Convention is early this year, as our
gardens will most likely be early also.
Clay
Hi Clay,
It’s nice to have these early blooms. They get us all hyped up for show season!

Little Gem is the winner here in Central Ohio, first out of the gate…I’m concerned though that Winter may well not be actually over.
Drew Mc Farland, Ben Sloy Farm, Granville, O.
I picked a bunch of Little Gem in bud and brought them inside to open. One R.E.S in bloom outside (Good thing it is early because that is it’s only good trait.) And a Roundita blooming in a pot in the greenhouse. All a bit late Spring here in Western WA. Had snow on ground the last two mornings.
Bill, Mary Lou,
Went out to my miniature seedlings after this bad weather and found this
blooming:
1st N. obvalleris x minicycla. This one looks cyclamineus however the head
drops too much.
2nd Little Beauty x Little Gem
3rd Little Gem X minicycla
