This year, Malcolm Lind, one of our Northern Daffodil Club members, has been mentoring St Particks Catholic School students, Te Awamutu, with their Daffodil Project.
Just as other members of our club mentor some schools near Hamilton with their projects, Malcolm has supervised everything from ground preparation through to the show bench.
This is the bench with some 55 entries that the St Patrick’s pupils entered. The judges, (Peter and myself [Margaret]), were very impressed with their efforts and it was quite a challenge for us.
A wonderful achievement.
For those who are coming to the show in Hamilton in September, you will be able to see the efforts from the Hamilton group of schools at the show.

  1. Very nice to see the good work that’s being done by the Northern Daffodil Club with youth. Congratulations to Malcolm Lind and all the students from St. Patrick’s school on their fine entries.
