There is quite a variety of flowers out now. I consider them the late autumn daffodils. In the USA the first day of winter starts after the solstice on December 21. Here are three that I photographed this afternoon.
The first is ‘Tequila Sunrise’, one of my first autumn hybrids.
The next is ‘Verdant Sparks’. Closest I have gotten to glowing green in the garden. Makes a great clump. Last is ‘Lima’s Green Goddess’ the earliest of Manuel Lima’s three tazettas that I have named and registered.
Hello Harold,
Wow, quite a show of autumn daffodils. While all are very nice, my favorite is the Verdant Sparks. It does appear to be a GLOWING GREEN. I bet your garden smells very nice right now also. Thanks for posting.
Regards,
Larry
Harold,
My favorite is Verdant Sparks too. Do you know, if it is pollen fertile?
