The bulbocodium group are ideal for beginning hybridizers as some of the members of this group will mature to flowering in a very short time. Below is a pot of N. romieuxii x sibs that was planted in July of 2011, picture taken January 7th 2013. This is their second year of growth. They are still in the original pot that the seed was sown in. One plant is in flower while there are others in bud. Not all of the plants will flower this year but there is one seedling that has three buds. Guess I will have to put a pod on that one.
