The multiple messages sent out today to daffnet mailing list members was caused by an error on my WordPress plugin which is supposed to send each Post and Comment out only once to list members.
This was my error and unintentional. Since a select list of recipients is not a standard WordPress function, I had to program it. It is very hard to debug this kind of plugin and a simple error caused this. I will need to update the plugin in the near future because the low level WordPress API library is changing.
I hope mailing list members will understand and please accept my apology for the error.
Tom Stettner’s excellent Post had nothing to do with the error. Tom was a great help for Nancy Tackett and myself in finding the error.
