So far only two have flowered from this cross made in 2007. This is
the better of the two although the other is not so shabby
either. The hybrid is Marie-Jose (11bW – Y/OW ) by a tiny jonquil
(either willkommii or assoanus, I am not comfortable telling these
apart). I was hoping for an 11b but am happy to settle for an 11a.
Florets measure 42 mm across and two to the stem.

That’s really nice Harold, clean colour contrast and nice perianth. Well
done again ‘Mini-split Champion ‘

Harold !
You’ve not produced one shabby thing yet that we’ve seen!
This is a real cutey.
Looks to have real substance.

Harold and Steve…………….it just keeps getting better and better. We sit back and bask in what you are doing, wondering if someday, somehow, we might be able to acquire even one of these amazing flowers. But I am so impressed and just happy we can look at them, now.
Drop jawed in Corvallis, OR. Lots of foliage and a few buds showing here. Barbara W.
Harold,
Really the nicest perianth I’ve seen on a multi floreted split. Excellent and congrats!
